Luui was built from the ground up to address the many limitations in standard Video Based Learning (VBL) tools.
The key departure was to abandon the YouTube-style single video per lesson, timeline-based approach. Luui from the beginning is an organizer of multiple clips into logically grouped blocks that clearly define and explain individual skills.
Once that changed, Luui could act more to assemble and organize, leaving creators and learners free to play with the organization, while still allowing for conventional linear access, based on lesson or unit completion before going forward.
