An Elegant, Effective New Approach to Tech Learning.

Luui Is Made For the Classroom

Below, you can read the original AVM explanatory materials. Luui takes the concept and capacity of AVM, and massively extends it

Luui started out in school; and we have held tightly to the innovation of the original Luui – AVM.

AWM the bespoke video learning managemnet system that we built to deliver a comprehensive, 44-week introduction to the technology in 3D games, for high schools.

More important than the content AVM delivered, was the idea: schools, we said, would face a crisis around the commitment to teaching code, at a time in 2022, when not everyone could see the impact of AI that was coming.

Collaboration

Luui supports the collaborative learning methodology that AVM pioneered. Working in pods of 6, pairs of students work to solve challenges; and then teach the other two pairs what they’ve learned.

Student Led

AVM addressed the real conditions is classrooms and schools in emerging economies., using Cambodia as its launchpad. In places where high levels of technical expertise are hard to find, the student-led, reinforced learning, inquiry based approach proved wildly successful.

Different in Four Key Ways

Student-Centric

Critical viewing and thinking is at the core of our collaborative, discovery-based curriculum. With over 300+ challenges built in, each requires a fresh analytical process, proceeding through hypothesis and testing. All of this is driven by students who share their results with each other.

Social Learning

Students interact constantly: engaged, exploring and excited to learn. With interaction, information sharing, collaboration and interdependence key soft skills, our method reflects the strategies for ongoing acquisition of knowledge that drives the tech industries globally.

Bespoke LMS

To deliver our video-driven, challenge-focused curriculum, we developed a unique sofware system called AVM.. Allowing self-pacing, lateral exploration, and project-driven skills acquisition and application in a unified, modular package we adapt to each individual school’s needs.

Effective Learning Environment

25+ years of bootcamp development have taught us how simple innovations supercharge student engagement and interdependence. Shared workstations, paired learning, and line of sight to the other members of their teams, break the screen locked isolation of tech ed..
